Why we created Ridewize

Matthias Grob and Lars Mäder founded Ridewize in Switzerland in 2025. Their idea was simple: people who make sustainable choices in their daily lives should be able to see their progress and receive genuine recognition for it.

Ridewize turns a good choice into something you can see. With your permission, the app recognises possible public-transport journeys. Journeys become points that you can exchange for selected rewards from our partners. Ridewize shows how your journeys add up and what you have already achieved through them.

Not every journey changes the world on its own. But none of them is meaningless.

We believe in the power of repetition

Change rarely begins with one grand gesture. It grows from the choices we make again and again. One journey today. Another tomorrow. A habit that lasts.
